MyData Software respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Statement serves to inform you of our privacy policy and practices, how we collect information and how that information is used.

We make this notice readily available from a link at the bottom of every web page on our web site.

Information we collect

MyData Software does not collect any personal information from you, unless when you submit personal information manually for any reason. Personal information is any information that can be used to identify an individual such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, or similar.

You can browse the MyData Software website as well as use any of our products without sharing any personal information. However, non-personal information may be collected in some situations:

  • MyData Software website may use a standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information on how you use this site.

  • MyData Software website uses a third party service which analyses website traffic. This third party also uses cookies that are stored in your computer.

  • TrueSight application can periodically issue a network request to MyData Software servers to search for new versions of the application. The only information that is being sent by TrueSight is your current IP address, and your current version of TrueSight. No other information is being sent.

  • TrueSight supports automatic crash reporting. If you allow sending the crash log to MyData Software servers (by clicking the “send” button in crash reporting appliation “CrashAgent”), you effectively send potentially sensitive data to MyData Software servers. Potentially sensitive data include: your current IP address, and everything that is being presented inside the window that will be shown after clicking the “Details” button. No information that is not listed in “Details” window will be sent.

We take your privacy seriously and no information (personal or non-personal) will be sold, leased or transferred to any third party.

When installing or running any MyData Software application for the first time, no personal or non-personal information will be collected. If there will be a need to collect such information, a dialog box will be presented to the user in which the user will be able to permit or forbid sending the information.

Who we share your information with

MyData Software will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to others. Your personal information will not be shared with third parties except in the following conditions:

  • We have your explicit permission to share information,

  • We need to share the information to provide the product or service you have requested (for example, information must be sent to our payment processor),

  • We have to disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or in urgent circumstances, to protect personal safety.

Your choices

MyData Software gives you the choice of receiving information regarding new products or updates to existing products. If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving communications with MyData Software, please contact us and we would be glad to add or remove your e-mail address from our lists.

This website contains links to other sites. These sites have their own privacy policies and MyData Software is not responsible for their policies. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policy of other websites you visit. MyData Software will not share your personal information with any of these sites.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy may be updated from time to time. If there are any changes to MyData Software’s Privacy Statement, we will make that information available by posting a notice on this site.
